Tour
Verdant Works and the Scouringburn
Start outside McManus at the Queen Victoria statue and take take a guided walking tour along the route of the Scouringburn past textile mills and other buisinesses that relied on it as a source of water for steam power from 1793 onwards.
Led by Mark Watson of Historic Enviroment Scotland. The tour will finish at Verdant Works with the opportunity to enjoy our café and see the current special exhibitons:
