There’s so much going on at our venues this Easter that we hardly no where to start!
Our seasonal museum are reopening for the season! The Museum of the Scottish Railways opens on 24th March - hop on board for a great day out! Experience the past today at Auchindrain Township, which opens on Easter Sunday. And the Museum of Lead Mining also reopens on Easter Sunday - a short drive from the A74 and in Scotland's highest village!
Almond Valley are getting us egg-cited for Easter with their Egg-citement event from 1st-17th April. There a trail to get you running around the site, plus crafts too,
Climb aboard at the Museum of the Scottish Railways for their annual Easter Egg Specials, 30th March to 2nd April. There's an Easter treat for all the kids, plus you can use your ticket to hop on and off the train all day.
There's something to keep families amused during every day of the holidays at Summerlee with their Spring Family Fun events! From Victorian schools to 1960s to the Home Front, have fun exploring history - and the Museum too!
New Lanark World Heritage has a whole Easter Weekend of fun lined up! As well as the usual fantastic visitor experience, and their amazing Artist Textiles exhibition, the Easter Bunny is visiting
The Scottish Fisheries Museum are having some fishy fun this Easter! As well as Fishy Fun for the kids on 7th April, grownups can have a go too (with added gin!) on 15th April.
At National Mining Museum Scotland hunt for the Easter Bunny when you're taking the mine tour. Don't forget to claim your prize! There are lots more events going on at the Museum over the holiday: check it out!
