Have you ever seen a full-size lighthouse built right through the middle of a 16th century castle? No, we thought not; it’s tour time!
Come and share in the wonder of this truly unique castle, understand the lifestyle and courage of our lighthouse keepers and marvel at the sophisticated engineering that saved lives. Our guides are fully trained and love to laugh.

Lighthouse Tea Room
Open daily 10am to 4.30pm.
Here you’ll find a truly stunning sea view, superb tea and the perfect pancake. Or, a truly stunning sea view, superb coffee and the perfect mint-chocolate traybake. We have it all, right down to our super-fast Wi-Fi. Your only struggle might be to leave before lunchtime when we start preparing fresh, locally-sourced hot meals to continue to delight you.
Interested in sea life? Talk to our qualified marine-biologist who often sights rare and beautiful wildlife from the Tea Room window; dolphins, porpoises and cormorants to name a few. Or interested in baking? Then you’re definitely in the right Tea Room.
