- Description
A traditional knitted gansey of navy wool with a herring bone pattern. Ganseys were knitted in the round on 4 needles for a seamless, snug fit which helped keep out the cold. The underarms were gusseted for free movement and the cuffs stopped short of the wrist to avoid friction between wet, salty wool and the skin.
