- Description
This advert, a spoof of Landseer's famous painting of a Highland stag, 'Monarch of the Glen' is an advert for the Motherwell-based coal cutting machinery manufacturer Anderson Boyes.
The image celebrates the firm’s Scottish heritage while also showing a very different vision of the country, one where the mountains were more likely to be made of coal waste.
