- Description
Model loom, fully working model with two picking arms, painted dark green. Made by an apprentice engineer, who once qualified, would produce full sized machines. A certain level of skills had to be reached before this was the case. Each mill had its own onsite engineers. A great deal of care and skill has been put into producing this model. Looms were used to weave fabric, keeping the warp thread vertical and still and interweaving the weft threads horizontally.
