Letter to Miss Jean Aitchison from POW Camp

A letter to Miss Jean Aitchison from MNE Robert Aitchision sent from a Prisoner of War camp. The letter is an update from Robert about his time in the camp. Of interest is a book on the Marines he mentioned might have lies in it; he asks if they "give the number of dead and prisoners". He also mentions he is fed up of the war and the cold weather.

Later he discusses his health and says he has a sore finger after a camp Dr used his knife on absess leaving him without a fingernail. He also seems to mention that he has no teeth writing "I left them in Stalag".
